What we need
  • Audit of existing Employee Handbook, or internal communications regarding employment policies
  • Edit or creation of a new Employee Handbook, which may include any of the following: Standards of Conduct, Work Schedules, Leave Policies, Termination Policies, Safety and Security, Anti-Discrimination policies, Compensation and Benefits policies, any Non-Disclosure Agreements or Conflict of Interest statements that may apply, and any other pertinent information
What we have in place
  • We currently have a Handbook, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a willing Executive Director, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,430 , allowing us to invest in programs that serve our community.

As a growing nonprofit, we need to strengthen our HR processes to attract and retain talent.

Our mission

MACC Development exists to seek the holistic revitalization of Detroit's 48214 zip code, block by block, neighbor by neighbor.

What we do

We are a Christian, non-profit, community development organization. We live and work in Detroit's 48214 zipcode. In 2010, Mack Avenue Community Church created MACC Development in hopes of reaching the community in ways the church couldn't. We have several programs for our community. MACC Lit is a youth literacy program, MACC Sports is a youth sports program that includes flag football, volleyball, basketball, and soccer. MACC Legal connects volunteer lawyers to people in our community, for legal assistance. MACC Missions hosts mission teams from all over the US & Canada to come and experience what God is doing in Detroit. We also have a for-profit business called The Commons. It is a combination laundry mat and coffee shop. Our goal is to meet the needs of our community spiritually as well as physically.
