What we need
  • Update to or creation of one new HR policy or procedure, such as any of the following: Standards of Conduct, Work Schedules, Leave Policies, Termination Policies, Safety & Security, Anti-Discrimination policies, Compensation & Benefits policies, Work From Home Policies, etc.

We're looking to create a Compensation and Benefits Policy. There isn't a hard deadline we need to meet.

What we have in place
  • We currently have an updated Employee Handbook (including benefits info)., which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have an annual increase process that we can review, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,480 , allowing us to continue to focus on our community.

It will help document our compensation and benefits policy. Additionally, we'd like to learn best practices related to Comp and Benefits that we might want to consider including.

  • Professional reviews any existing policy materials and gathers clarifying information
  • Volunteer Manager explains what they're looking for in this policy
  • Professional determines if changes need to be made to existing policy(s)
  • Professional determines if the Volunteer Manager needs to collect additional information from employees (i.e., survey results)

Milestone 1: Draft of Policy
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional review a draft of the policy, and determine next steps (i.e., buy-in/approval from additional parties)

Milestone 2: Wrap-up & Learnings
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional confirm final policy
  • Professional makes recommendations for how to distribute or communicate new policy to employees
